How.to measure hat size. Repeat the procedure to ensure that your measurements are accurate. First Measure Your Head Circumference To measure your head circumference take a sewing measuring tape or even a string and wrap around above the ears and across your eyebrows. If your measurement falls between sizes choose the next largest size.

If a hat is too small it will sit too high up on your head so if you are in-between sizes its generally best to go up a size and add some hat padding underneath the sweatband to help it fit a bit tighter.

How to measure for your hat size. If you should fall between sizes the general rule is to round up. If you do not have a tape measure download print and assemble our hat tape.
To measure the size of a persons head use a flexible tape measure to measure the circumference at the widest part of the head usually an inch above the eyebrows. PLACE it around your head positioned mid-forehead and just above the ears. To find your hat size take your ruler measurement and find the corresponding size on the chart.
